What do you mean follow it with the service truck? I thought your function was to pick it up from Doorgunner and get it ready for the trip north. After all you have the experience from the Vinniemobile.

Cheers, Dan

DG has been working like a dog on this coach. I heard it even has braided stainless steel coolant hoses. Well... maybe just the upper one.

Since it's equipped with the 454 you can tow that ski boat you always wanted. Plenty of power to spare.

Then we will be looking for the piccys of Lili and Hans water skiing...

Like a Dog ?? does that include cocking his leg and wizzin on the tyres
Green..its the colour Green..nervous reaction..
Me in the water ?? Neva !!
38 83 54 Swimming Costume doesn't exist..
Couple of months ago..in a Large Store..nearly closing time
I rushed past an assistant who said they were turning off the lights
in 2 minutes..Ha! they always say 2 minutes when the mean 10..
No matter..2 minutes is enough time anyway to try on an unbelievably tight jumper..Looked like in the mirror..urghhh...Bowl of Lumpy Porridge Sprung to mind..ooo more than a tight squeeze..back over my head ..
wriggled and jiggled..twisted and turned..STUCK !
..3 buckets of sweat later and on the verge of a panic attack stumbled out the changing room both arms bolt upright ..bumping into things.."hellllppp helllppp!! anyone there!" .. they'd shut the department ! Little sod had cleared off !..a security guard with no sense of humour rescued me.."Never had to do this before!" "Oh well" nervous giggle..from me not him.."theres a first for everything" He dragged it off all right with his gorilla hands..along with a clump of my hair.. True

Ive just had laughing fit thinking about Hans sitting on Hagars water bowl in Dans Airstream..and keeping quiet about it
We Stepped back into our Motorhome..Dan already started his engine..
Hans yelled "pass me some dry Trousers and Underpants quick !!"
I threw him the clean clothes..Hans dragged off his wet things and was hopping about on one leg trying to get his knickers on and Dan drove off ..Hans ran to the front dragging his underpants with his foot..jumped in the seat ..He drove 100 miles starkers from the waist down Hans Jnr and I were in hysterics .. Why he didn't tell anyone he sat on Hagars bowl I really dont know.. Normal people would say "Oh..Im wet..Ive sat on Hagars Bowl"..Gad..Never forget that..never ..
Night Vision..i'll need that..

Hans sr drive on the wild side

OMGosh Lili. That story about Hans sr not getting his knickers on quick enough and then having to drive all that way, bare bottom and all! How hilarious!! I can just imagine how hard you and Hans jr must have howled about that one!!! Too flippin' funny!

And you...trying clothes on but not able to get them off! Priceless! And boy did that security guard have a story to tell around the watercooler!

I can't wait to meet you guys and listen to more of your stories, first hand so I can giggle right along with you!

So glad to hear you're coming back to visit, Lili; I would love to get a chance to meet you and your family! Astoria is a beautiful place, and the Oregon and Washington coasts are breathtaking. We usually spend several weekends each year at Ft. Stevens State Park (just a few miles from Astoria).

I think a rally in your honor would be a lot of fun - where do I sign up?

On a more somber note; I'm keeping Jenny and her father in my thoughts. I've been through something like that too, and it is so terribly hard. I am so glad she has you, H1 & H2 to support her. I know it takes a toll on the three of you as well. Take care, and know that you have the support of so many of us on both sides of the ocean.

Sharon

Actually..I am quietish in the flesh..Not Like Q..who is boisterously funny
Out of Curiosity that killed the cat ..I looked in the English Dicco for the meaning of boisterous and its not how I understand it..By Boisterous I mean Quite Jolly..
Q send me snaps of things far removed from our way of life..like boating in reach of real life crocodiles..you know ..that sort of thing..unless they're plastic and
she's larking about
Hey..The Eagle has left the nest..has the package arrived
Click on it be patient..Click on it be patient ...Click on it be patient ...

Hi Sharon
How lovely to hear from you..I'm sure we shall meet..
After all you've taken the time to climb aboard TinCrumpets Theatrical Travels
USA..ahhh..such a wonderful Country..
I have a friend..the one who is writing the Bunny Book..she is the PA and close friend of quite a famous chappie here in England..She mailed me late last night..
She writes and I send her nutty mails in return and she writes again
and I send more madness..the barmier the better as far as she's concerned..
I'll tell you why I like Katherine..it is because she shares my love of the USA and USAians..and she's slightly off the wall just like yours truly..
Now this is the thing..ok..i'm over sentimetal..but I treasure
each one who bothers..we certainly don't expect constant
communication..after all..people as as busy as Bees..but to think..that since
12th September 2009 some are still writing letters of friendship cheers me up
and down and up again..If we have storage we can pay visits and
I'm tingly from tops to toesies at the very thought
Anyway about coming back..Its months down the line but I'm
dragging things out of cupboards to hawk..flight monies needed after all
After I rang Hans' work colleague to tell Hans we were buying Doorgunners'
Airstream he nearly spat his tea across the desk..[Hans not the work colleague]
Having said that..the work colleague was was fairly surprised too..
2 days passed..
Hans "what ! Where! We have no money! How!"
Me.."Stop Panicking..I have storage.. I have savings" ..
Said With crossed fingers in pocket..I hadn't at that point..

But now..Hans is very much looking forward..quite excited and at ease now he knows we have boltholes and jolly good mechanically competent Friends
And..Late September gives me time to correct Doorgunners forgeries
Got my Benjamin Franklyns mixed up with my George Washingtons..
Pretty convincing apart from that..oh and holding them up to the light..

Your best wishes for Jenny..The scenario strikes a chord with yours truly and no doubt many others yourself included..such is life..at times a bitter sweetie to suck..
Jennies predicament was my deciding factor..my yardstick..
We have one life to live and I'm jolly well living it !!
