ship yer oars, park the trolly'''
Vinnie old buddy ole pal
Man I need some parts for my 24 Argosy Moho. Let me know when you have "possession" of the BritMobile.
I could swap out my inoperative stuff for their good stuff. Savvy??
I just wanna see their faces at Casini
on edit- Casini has storage also in case Vinnie's neighbors are uncompromising idiots.

DG..
If I start to part out the Britmobile it might make for a bit of tension around the ol campfire...
As far as the house behind me.. it just went into foreclosure! That guy didnt do us any favors.
I would rather have the view of another airstream vs. an empty house. My kids think it haunted now
Thanks for the tip..
Vinnie

Hey, if I could make a solo trip by myself for 1000 miles across the Sahara Desert led by six Tuareg nomads, it should be a piece of cake for me to do this. Guess what? I am free and would love to do it. Then I could write about the whole thing.....
Imagine that!

Look forward to seeking you out at the event cheeky chops - save some veggie burgers for us - We'll be the only British and the only Vegetarians there so you'll fine us easily.

Hi Carol - You sound braver than I
although I have mastered driving lorries
I do like my creature comforts so 1000 miles across the desert
would finish me off
We're all sorted now re help with motorhome
and we hope to see you at the event if you are going in April
Kind regards
Lili

Hi
In order to ship a motorhome ex Los Angeles to UK you have following options :
1. cheapest get a towing company to drive it to Galveston and ship it from there,
which will be the cheapest, this way yr unit is insured in case something happens, as
would not be the first time that someone looks for cheaper solution and gets a call that his unit for example burned out, and try to get your money then. Ex Galveston it can be shipped roro to UK
2. or ship on a flat rack ex LA to UK port, which is bit more costly
3. or ship roro ex LA to UK
However when shipping ex LA by sea you will have a much longer transittime, easely
2 weeks extra, then when you truck to Galveston

shipping airstream to uk
Hi have driven from AZ to TX to Galveston and shipped A/S motorhome the drive was easy just follow I 10 people friendly the shipping was much more painful make sure your A/S goes straight to a UK port and does not get dropped off in Europe first. What they do is ship to Europe in massive ships, then break the load down i.e. motorhomes then ship round Europe in smaller ships. The damage happens when they are waiting to be reloaded the dock is so large it lacks security.Hope this helps
