uneasy Airstreamer waitin' for rain

So apparently our newest leak has been repaired. The leak was coming from the screw holes at the hinges at the top of our front window. The dealer told us that the screws used to hold the hinges were too small for the pre-drilled holes . As well as allowing water to come in through the holes, the whole hinge with the attached window cover (I don't know the proper term for the glass pane that raises and lowers over the actual window) was starting to pull away on one side !
We took our trailer back to outdoor storage and now we are just waiting for our first trip or the first drip, to see it again.
Stay tuned.

Hang in there! Just think how perfect that trailer will be when they finally get it all fixed. Then you'll have many years of streamin' ahead of you, because Airstreams last forever!

I don't know if we have the same type of window fasteners/locks.....but some of my locks--on the bottoms of the windows, especially the rear one between the beds--were to tight. It would seem they pulled the window(s) away from the rubber at the top. This allowed water in. Really had a puddle at the bottoms of three...in the trough.
