I really hope all is well, and he is so busy playing with his new toy, he forgot to let us know he is home.

I think you have mangled your TV shows. It is Area 51, and Car 54, Where Are You?
Hey, maybe the aliens got confused, and thought his new Ambassador was the Mother Ship, and hauled him and it off to Melmac?

[knocking on aluminum] Hopefully all is okay, or even better than okay.

He is so busy playing that he has forgotten to come home. Or, better still, that his home is now with him.

But it's more likely that he's busy with that first project.

As for towing, I have the same exact trailer and my 1500 Ram with the gutless yet somehow bullet proof 318 and a 3.55 RE pulls it beautifully. In all fairness though, I also live in Ohio, and one thing we don't have a lot of is hilly terrain, and I haven't ventured far enough in mine yet to find some to see how it does. The 5.4L is the larger of the two available V-8 drivetrains for the F-150 and other than fuel economy, I don't think you would have any trouble pulling your trailer, especially with the 3.73 RE. Yes, the F-250 with the PS is ALWAYS the best way to go...if we all had that kind of money.

Hi Folks, yes I'm back. Thanks for showing your concern for my well being. Although most of the time I'm accused of being an alien myself. My wife is trying to alienate me since I came back with the news of my puchase. Oh Well..... What does she know? My new trailer could become my new home in short order.........Ahhhh......Life on the road! What Joy!

One problem is........ I have nothing to tow it with yet........Minor....

Anyway yes, I bought it! I'm a happy guy! and I don't care what anyone else has to say. And they are talking...........WHO CARES! I've found God in an aluminum can.

I appologize for not getting back on here when I got back. I've been busy trying to make the money thay my new baby is going to suck out of me. But thats another story......... I have to go out now, but I'll fill y'all in on my purchace when I get get back from dinner and a few cocktails.

Tamis,

Good luck with the silver purchase.
One tiny piece of advice, skip the cocktails, your silver palace will be needing that money!!!!

On second thought, have a couple for me

I'd kind of like to see a photo journal of your bathroom restoration project. I've got a '72 and am curious to know what materials and design you intend to use. Thanks!

I'd like to hear more of the plan myself. Some how I would like figure out how to put a decent shower in. I've got a few other things to take care of first though.

By the way....... When I bought the trailer it came with the original owners manual. If any one out there is interested, maybe there is someplace I could upload it to?

I'm also in the process of posting some pictures of my new babe, if anyone wants to take a look.

Bathroom renov

In my photo album, I have placed several photos of the ugly part, gutting it. And I will keep posting photos as it gets beautified.

I know this thread is old but did you ever post pictures? I'm approaching a phased restoration of mine starting with the rear bath due to a plumbing issue and always like to see others.

Thanks!

I was looking for the shower and sink area - debating on whether or not to do a complete replacement or simply go over everything with epoxy.
