1950 Flying Cloud

Does anyone know what the last Flying Cloud was that came out of the factory so I can tell if I have a 1950 or 1951?

Its serial number 7055.

Hi John:

The VAC presently does not have any beginning or ending serial numbers for California built Airstreams before 1954. For example, the 1952 model year 21' Flying Cloud serial numbers are simply listed in used trailer value guides as the 7000 series, which is no real help. Sorry we can't be more specific, but the data you seek has not yet been discovered.

If you have a ladder frame, its a '51, if you have a pipe frame, its a '50. I think there were a few different ends available in 1950- flat with a square window or round with the oval window or flat in front and round in back- so check the windows and ends as well. I think that high of a VIN puts you in 1951 anyway.
