Congratulations!

Hopefully this post won't put anybody in an arrest mood,
but while contemplating a door's term at the local pub,
I happened to notice a restroom ad which elicited
a modest roar from deep within my dream torso.

azflycaster and moosetags are the latest Smart Rodeo players!

the new mods need a theme song...

every breath you take
every move you make
every bond you break
every step you take
every single day
every word you say
every game you play
every night you stay
i'll be watching you...

cheers

I think the song really goes:
Every hand you shake
Every smile you fake
Every bribe you take
Every vow you break...

opps, sorry, that's the politicians' song.

Moosetags reminds me of the yellow diamond caution signs that were posted on Loring AFB in northern Maine that said "Moose is Loose"

Actually, I thought aflycaster and moosetags were already moderators. I've been thinking for a while about how maybe moderators isn't the correct word to use since a moderator is one who referees debates and I don't really see any debating going on in this forum. In fact if something breaks out into a debate, a moderator can close the thread. Perhaps the title should be "participating referee". Just a thought.

The reason that the members rarely see, shall we say, discontented debate is because the moderators keep a close eye on things around here. Friendly debate is welcomed and in many circumstances even encouraged. When things take a turn for the worse, the Mods do have to step in and sort things out. Closing threads is a rarity and is not done without considerable debate out of the public view. The things that the members don’t see are the things that keep this forum a pleasant place to visit.

Just a couple of observations from my time behind the green door.

Jim

Maybe... but it's too long to fit in the avatar block. And.... they would have to issue us whistles. Could be ugly....

They are the one's who show up with whips and chains at Forum's campground gatherings. Ok, at least that is what we saw with the only Mod (to remain anonymous) we've had the great pleasure (no pun intended) of meeting at a TCT event.

Lot's of fun, they take on a lot of work to keep this forum up and going and deserve a ton of credit for it . Without them this forum would just be a run-of-the-mill boring group of threads.

Glad to have you with us Allen H. This is a great place to find out anything Airstream related.

Merry Christmas

Barry
