I think the issue was the old image was cached but the new image map (links) was for the new image, where different hotspots had been defined. I changed the name of the graphic so no ones browser should be caching and the links should work fine, can you please confirm they are working ok for you now?

I have to admit it was cool how it peeled the page open. Once was enough.
I am planning to create a way for members who have upgraded to turn this off from their UserCP.
What I did on my Windows machine at work was put a shortcut to the file on my desktop next to the shortcut to Safari. Then, if I want to look at the forums, it is quick and easy to comment that line out and save. When done, just remove the comment tag and save again.
I sent Gene instructions to create a little Unix shell script for his Mac desktop that will allow him to turn the Classifieds on or off fairly easily. It could probably be adapted to a Windows cmd file.

Would you send it to me, too? G4 at home.
Thanks,
Got it...Thanks and Karma sent. I have used the terminal on occasion, mostly out of curiosity. I know my way around a DOS line or even VMS better than UNIX.

I have NO idea what you folks are talkin about here. It's making me feel disadvantaged, To me a cach is either the "cold hard" stuff or a hidden supply of fully automatic weapons. But thanks for all the effort you put into this forum- I enjoy reading the new posts daily with my morning cup o joe.
Oh and bandwidth- what is that all about? I think a band with 2 guitars is small, now Los Lobos has 5 electric guitars on stage at once- To me that's a lot of bandwidth- takes up more room on the stage.
Ho hum as Forrest Gump says "stupid is as stupid does" I'm feeling kinda lame this morning, guess I need to get off my buttocks ( another Gump thing) and do something.

Good deal. If you port it to Windows, please make it available here.
Port...MMMmmm, I like a good 25 year Tawny myself!

Shari,
I didn't know that you liked port. If I remember, I will bring some Chocolate Port for you to try.

I haven't tried the new instructions from Moe so I can turn it on or off. I am scared I'll leave out a backslash or a dot or something and I'll have to send my computer to intensive care. I'm not quite as clueless as Doorgunner ("I feel your pain", mine just isn't as great), and Moe's instructions are quite complete and usable by an idiot so I'll try it later. Thanks Moe.
Still, the best thing would be just to eliminate the sparkling tab for everyone.
I agree that making all these changes is a big job and I thank you for making your best efforts. There are bound to be problems and some irritating things that seemed like a good idea at the time. Much more is good than otherwise.
