John, Since that is the case..... None of our Taglines apply.
Maybe if we could use the word A*******m in the tagline we would not have to refer to aluminum or rivets at all!
But let's go with the best one we've got! I voted for mine too! Mine is still in the running and since I'm not an (A/S dealer)
I have resisted any attempt to slip in a solicitation for votes. But now the gloves are off!!!! Lol!
Here goes:
Please vote for my personal favorite tagline... All Aluminum All the Time I can see it headlining the site now with the image of a travel trailer in the background! Just like the thrill that will get ya when you get your picture on the.... Cover or the Rolling Stones ! Oh, man I was smilin" !!! Happy Trails, Ed

Just voted and hope everyone is happy with the final result - no matter which one wins! They are all OK in my book.

still fewer voting and really weak trends.
while some are cute...
are ANY tag lines?
slogans perhaps, but it seems there is a difference.
jingles and slogans work because they get repeated over and over...
and substitute for the product name. they also seem to phase in/out or change regularly.
like
'where quality is job one'.....is?
'just do it' .....is?
'it's the real thing'......is?
'your in good hands with'..........is?
my understanding is a tagline conveys WHAT/WHO/WHY the product...
perhaps really well known brands like nike or coke or allstate or ford don't need taglines, we know what they make/do.
they have NAME recognition, so changing slogans keep em fresh and in our minds.
the forums are THE airstream KNOWLEDGE SHARING NETWORK.
that one really really works. and still does.
the last 2 rounds of offerings are more slogan like than catchy descriptive phrases ....
seems to me an effective tag line for a site that has intentionally left OUT the product name...
must convey WHAT the site is about....
"airforums.com....log on for alluminum" is a slogan (and not a very good one)
"airforums.com....the place for everything airstream" is a slogan with 'tagline' like features (still not very good)
"airforums.com...THE airstream knowledge sharing forums" is a real tag line.
sorry but i think we are adrift now in cute phrases....
use 'em all, but reopen the search for a real TAGLINE.
or better describe what/how/where the catchy phrase is intended to work...
cheers
2air'

I agree with 2air'...
THE airstream KNOWLEDGE SHARING NETWORK...that would be the best!
As highly as A/S inc spoke of this website (AirForums) at our dealer meetings, it suprises me that they don't want us using the "Airstream" name...
They even used our front page of this site in one of their slides at the dealer meeting on Friday...
Maybe we someone needs to talk to someone else again...
Did that last statement make sense???

i don't think there is a tagline in the final round so my vote is witheld.
hopefully andy will select an appropriate tagline of his own choosing because i think the choices in the final round are cliche at best.

Triple A
That's what I've decided to call all the Apathic American Airstream owners who refuse to vote for a tagline! Even if you don't like the ones posted in this final round you could a least say so! There are a lot of members out there and only 217 have cast a vote for one of the taglines in this final round! What's the matter "Cat got your Mouse"! I think you should all get off the fence and vote for one. Or you could all just throw your support behind mine! It's really a "Humdinger".... All Aluminum All the Time . This has been a paid political announcement. I'm BigEd52 and I approve of this message!
