Airforums Screen View has gone crazy!

How come I now see all types of advertisements on 3/4 of the viewing screeen? Threads, etc are now only about 4" wide.... What did I do?

This is what I see (except the pdf doesn't show the pics for the ads to the right).

Me, too.

Perhaps the software update just installed?

I think the actual content of the pages should be larger than the ads and other revenue based content. The recent updates really suck from this user's perspective.

At least it's only the actual Forum threads and not the User Control Panel.

And in the "Reply" view (as I'm typing this), the display goes back to normal, too.

I haven't yet tried the Search screen, Calendar, or other parts of the Forums to see if the display changed for them as well.

I'm sure it's a temporary bug.

Looks like FAQ and Registry are also compressed, but Calendar is fine.

I don't really use the Classifieds so I don't know if they're normal or not.

Don't care for it either

I had not noticed this on my phone but logged onto desktop to see several of the recent nice images as the phone doesn't do them justice.

Wow, BIG adds from guess who, google plus trying to be intuitive. And this was the first thread listed. I also don't care for it. Takes up to much space and shrinks the threads to less than half the width of the page. Can the adds be minimized or shrunk.

Since I use Ad Blcker, the only ads I see are Airstream or WBCCI-related (those posted by the Forums, not by Google) That leaves me with huge expanses of blank white screen where you are seeing the ads.

It is bizarre to be viewing the Forums on a screen that's 20" wide and see text scrunched into a column 3½" wide.

Okay. I've had all I can stand of the compressed views. Setting my subscription to this thread to "instant notification" in the hope that when the Forums are restored to readibility someone will post a note to that effect on this thread. Otherwise, I'm now boycotting the AirForums until they fix it. Too hard to read.

Why hasn't a MOD replied? They usually do good job of keeping us informed.

This change in the page formatting was unexpected for us as well. We will post an update when we know more.
