So it says I have 65535 unread messages after upgrading my account. Imagine the disappointment of not finding them when I went to read my private messages. So, it that the total number of unread messages on the server?

I appreciate these forums as much as anyone else but it is really troublesome to see contributing members wait as long as 5 months for their stickers and/or enhancements as we see in many of these posts.
This is written with intent as constructive criticism and I hope it is read as same. Someone had to say it.
How hard can it be to respond to people who have donated?
Let the flaming begin.

Your decals were in last night's mailing. You will get them this week some time.

Keep in mind that in some cases the folks with missing decals didn't get in touch with us right away. I did handle a number of requests that were made privately to me and were resolved.

I normally post when the decals go out and what contribution dates the decals cover. Some folks have been very patient and probably didn't see the original post showing the mailing date and contribution dates. Therefore it was only after some time that they finally spoke up.

As noted many times, we specifically had issues with a mailing list that was done in April. That is the only list that we have had major problems to this extent. There have been two subsequent mailings go out since then, none with the problems that this one specific mailing had. To my recollection only two issues out of the last two mailings, one being a lost envelope and the second a bad address on the forum records.

In addition once we had identified there may be a problem, we had to go back and research records which include original contributions and different mailing reports. When I don't know the exact date that a person ordered, I have to go through many many names to look to see if I generated a mailing label.

Finally remember that we are volunteers here. Most of us have working jobs and other priorities in life. In the case of the decals, the handling and mailing are done by me here in St. Louis. I do not have direct access to pay pal records nor do I have the ability to generate reports from the system. All of this has to be done by someone else and then emailed to me.

All I can tell you is that we are getting the problems ironed out, and in this case, the vast majority of the issues posted on this thread dealing with decals, dealt with one nasty report that just caused folks not to get listed.

Hopefully we have gotten things caught up. Obviously let's see what this week brings. I'm hoping that there are no others out there still waiting by this time next week.....(unless they ordered after the cutoff that I posted last night).

So no flame from me. We have enough heat here in the midwest!

Glad you all have gotten them. It's interesting to note how long it takes first class mail to get to some parts of the country. You would think that it would take less than 6 days considering the fact that they were inside the local post office on Sunday night and some of you did not get them until the following Saturday.

As a matter of fact I think I've even had some international decal orders arrive as fast as US deliveries.

Hi Sam - If you're getting in on the front end of a cycle it can easily take 6 weeks before the stickers arrive. The golden rivets are proof of your heightened status. Your fellow Airstreamers appreciate the support for our self-motivated, self-driven best site on the web -- thanks!

It is time for me to renew. Plus I have a "new to me" Airstream that is just screaming for a decal! Is there a way to do this without going through paypal?

No not really. Paypal is the only choice that Andy has at this point.

Sorry....
