I upgraded today. We found our Bambi in the Air classifieds back in December. Thanks for the wealth of information and experience on the forums. I have learned and am learning A LOT. I asked for help last week for an electrical problem and got many responses very quickly. Simple solution for a temporary fix but just the reassurance to a newbie was very helpful. Can't wait to display our sticker proudly.

Just watch this thread. I'll post when the next batch goes out and what dates it covers.

I upgraded a couple months ago, but just scraped off the 20 yr old stickers on the glass, so I've got room now.

I'm still sporting my original set of Air decals that I had made for me back in 2004. I do need to replace them since they still display our old URL. They've held up well but I have to credit a garage for the van and inside storage for the trailer in preserving their life.

Just curious, those of you who have had your decals for some time, how have they held up for you?

Jack

Hi, Jack. I have three sets of stickers that I haven't used yet, so I would guess that my original stickers are about four years old and still holding up very well.

I still have one of the originals on my trailer with the old URL as well. It still looks fine. I have one of the transparent background ones on the rear window of my truck since I bought it 3 1/2 years ago and it looks like new.

I'm not part of the mechanics on this but I think you provide a mailing address when you make the contribution. We also do have a mailing address on file when you initially established your forums membership. I've sometimes use that address that you provided when you became a forum member if you decal order gets returned due to a bad address. Some folks use ficticious addresses which are sometime obvious and sometimes not.

The last set that went out covered through Feb 19th of this year. I should be receiving a new list soon. I'll let you know what dates the next mailing will cover when I get a new mailing list from the forum owner.

I am wondering what happened to our payment for stickers a LONG, LONG time ago. I hope it didn't get lost in cyberspace or hanging out in some rotten pink insulation somewhere. What do I do now?

I wondered the same thing when I donated because the interface isn't clear that it's "Pay membership for user X", but before I got around to asking about it, I noted that my profile had changed to say "Supporting Member" so I figured they got it right.
