TV antenna replacement

Hi,

I am going to replace the original TV antenna on our 75 Sovereign. I am thinking of replacing it with a Winegard Roadstar Antenna. Has anyone had any experience with this type of stationary antenna If so, any comments would be welcome.

Thanks,
Billy

I installed one on my AS and it is now laying on I-75 just outsite of Richmond KY., there is a design flaw with the metal bracket that attaches to the plastic dish. The wind will lift the dish up, than down, fatiguing the bracket. went with satellite

Thanks Toastie. We were also thinking of going satellite. You just helped to make our decision. Satellite it is.

Thanks again, Billy

If that "post" is threaded on the outside with a little hole in the center that the center wire of the antenna cable goes into, it is called a "coaxial cable terminal"

Going satellite. Does that mean tripod mount or roof mount? What are you guys thinking of doing. I looked at the manual roof mount dish at Camping World a little over $300. I also have a tripod to mount a dish on, for the areas in which the signal is blocked by trees.
