Trouble Baking with Sharp Micro/Convect

Hello, this may seem like a silly question but can anyone help us with simple directions to use our Micro/Convection GS2 Sharp oven work on manual to bake mode vs the preset buttons that end up with us just guessing? For example, how do you preheat oven to bake at 350, how do you then set it to bake @350 or whatever for 25 minutes. The owners manual that came is not clear to us. Thank you.

Baking In Sharp Convection Microwave

I have attached a pdf document that someone else posted on the forum. Can't remember who, but it is a great straight forward description of the functions and how to use them. I use it all the time. It makes using the convection microwave as easy as can be.

You are very welcome. I printed mine out-put it in a binder and keep it near the microwave. This microwave is really good at a lot of functions and the guide really helps.

As a secondary item of note, in my 2011 if you bake with the convection oven, the device intentionally uses the rotation of the plate setter to evenly heat the food. Invariably if your trailer isn't exactly level, the plate setter nonstick surface causes nearly any dish I have in there to slide into one of the walls, stop turning and brown/burn one side of the dish. I've solved this with a high heat silicone trivet between the turntable and dish to offer a level of "stick."

Is this just for the Sharp convection/microwave or will it apply to other brands as well?

The PDF file is just for the sharp. My copy is laminated!

Ian's idea about the silicone trivet is good for any microwave. Thanks Ian!
Thinking I might go to FloydFest... How about you?

Alas, no FloydFest for me -- I am in London/Paris July 1-15; then planning on towing down to Disney late August (yeah, right, huh?)

Thanks to all. I'll follow all the suggestions, print it, laminate it, keep it near the microwave and put a silicone trivet underneath it. I'm also going to add the PDF to my 2016 AS flash drive so that I have it no matter what!

Thank you for the pdf file Silverbee. I just printed and now to laminate. Way better than the manual. Mods, this thread might be better served under Stella's kitchen.
