Television installation

I want to install my 55" Samsung in the living area of my Excella. The problem is its very heavy. My thought is to drill through to the exterior & bolt the mount with nuts & bolts. I know it's not ideal, but I really want my tv. Has anyone else mounted a tv this large & is there a better solution?

Is there a place where you can sit the TV? You can probably more easily bolt the base of the TV down instead of going through the exterior.

I would make a mount that bolts to the floor.

I don't want it to be stationary & there will be a flat panel electric fireplace below it, so I can't put it on a stand. I was hoping someone knew of a better way to secure 45 lbs to the interior wall.
