Solar charger for IPhone/IPad mini?

Iím looking at solar chargers that will keep my phone and IPad mini charged when not hooked up to electricity.

I like the ones with a battery pack that stores a charge, not just strictly solar charging.

Anyone using these and have a recommendation?

Thanks!

Maggie

Did you get something, Maggie? I have 2 of these: https://www.amazon.com/RAVPower-1500...P6RFXDJ0W6EB12

It's a dependable company, IMO. I brought them out when visiting each of my (techie) sons and they were sooo impressed.

I did, having gotten recommendations here somewhere, but apparently not in this thread.

I got a rechargeable battery pack for my devices, also would charge the Interstate if that should be needed.

Canít tell you exactly what it was, but pretty compact and highly recommended.

Iíll try to find a link.

That looks useful and a good price. I better get that, too.

You might want to get one of the little ones also to carry in a purse or pocket. I've been taking it on hikes and sightseeing and has been handy for me and the people with me when their phones get low. I ended up getting each of my sons 1 for Christmas.

Sorry I was late to answer--playing catch up after a long trip.

Hi

Backup battery packs come in a lot of sizes and brands. The Goal Zero stuff seems to be pretty highly though of here on the forums. If you *do* need solar, they have that as well.

https://www.goalzero.com/?gclid=EAIa...SAAEgKXs_D_BwE

One reason for mentioning - they are having a pretty big sale right now.
