Small black antenna-on top-front and center
We just picked up our Bambi today from the previous owner. I noticed the small black antenna looked like it had been snapped off just passed the part where it screws on. Am I assuming correctly that it's for am/fm? Looks like a new one can simply screw into place once I remove the stub of the old one. I apologize for no picture with the post! I totally forgot to take one, and now the trailer is tucked away at it's new storage place.
Anyone know where to find a replacement antenna?? I looked on the Airstream website store, but there's not much there.
Thanks for any tips!
Happy 4th, y'all!

You are correct. The small black flexible antenna on the roof is for the am/fm radio.

I know this post is old but was wondering if you had any luck in finding a replacement for that antenna? Our Antenna looks like it is also "snapped" off at the same place yours was (haven't actually gotten ontop of the AS to get a close look) but I can't imagine they would "fold down."

JM55, I've got a 2008 Safari and we have the short, 1ft or so antenna, and yes it folds down, but you have to get on top to fold it up or down.

If I'm remembering correctly, I called them and asked about it because I couldn't find it online. The part number for my specific year and model is 511807 - ANTENNA AM/FM RUBBER 13". I got the part number from the parts manual on the Airstream website. I don't know if different years have a different part number, but this is the one I have.

I have been looking for that everywhere. Already bought two antenna off eBay that claimed to have the post in the wired side but they had it on the antenna side and was useless on my Airstream.
Someone put a vinyl wrap on my RV and either when they added or when my dealer was trying to remove it, the rubber antenna part was removed from both antenna.
Finally got out the parts book and the part number only took me to AirstreamSupply.com, but they wanted $31.52 vs. the $13.95 for Out-of-Doors Mart.
Thanks again.

I was looking to solve the same problem. Found one at Walmart for 9 bucks that fits. Includes all the parts you don't need as well, but does have an adapter that may work with some other mounts. They also have an orderable one for less than 4. The 13 dollar one mentioned above from OoDM also has 15 dollars shipping if you prefer to be scalped. I didn't.
