Security alarm systems

As we are eagerly anticipating the delivery of our new 2008 Safari, we are also worrying about how secure it will be while it is parked on our property. We are not in a bad part of town but our area has had some crime problems. I am not really concerned about anyone getting away with the whole trailer, but I would like to reduce the risk that one of our neighborhood thieves breaks in to burglarize it.

Can anyone recommend a good burglary alarm system for an Airstream trailer?

I would look into a car alarm system.
There are lots of options out there.
They usually have a main unit that you can accept inputs from:
Remote for (activation/deactivation of alarm)
High Output multi-tone Sirens
Dual Stage Shock Sensors
Motion Sensors
Glass Sensors
Door Sensors

Some can even notify you when the alarm has been tripped.
So if you stop at a restaurant, grocery store, or sight-seeing attraction
and someone backs into your trailer you will know.

Best thing they will run off your 12 volt trailer battery.
Good luck, and hope you never really need it.
