Rooftop Antenna Installation - Spring Mount Cellular Antenna

Hello Experts,

We have a 23FB and since I work from the road, I just ordered with weBoost Drive 4G-X + RV Trucker Essentials Kit - 470510-RV.

I was thinking of making a metal bracket and glueing the base to the top of the Airstream. Has anyone done this before or do you have a suggestion how to instal the antenna to the roof? I've attached a pic for your review.

My thought is to run the wire out of the vent pipe but not sure the best place to mount the antenna.

Recommendations welcomed and thank you!

Wayne

Quick update and welcome any feedback.

I hooked up the antenna to the vent pipe using a large rubber pumping gasket and metal bands. Not pretty but seems functional for now. I don't have another road trip planned for a few weeks to test how it works on the highway and if the vent pipe is strong enough to handle 65 mph....

I plan on getting solar and hope to mount the antenna bracket to one of the feet as a long term solution. If anyone has done this successfully?

My other thought is glue a L bracket to the roof of the Airstream and mount it there. Has anyone done this?

Appreciate your comments

Wayne

Hope this is helpful to others. Figured out that this is the best way to mount the antenna and I can easily remove it after years when the technology changes.....

This looks like it would work for me too. How did you attach to the A/C?
