Has anyone ever replaced the Dometic CCC with something like this?

Any other interesting upgrades/enhancements in home automation for your airstream?

Have you tried this and do you know that it works?
I thought only the CCC thermostat worked with the Dometic power board.

No, thus the question.

I've been thinking about one for the house, but my experience with Dometic is that their CCC units only work with their control board, and vice versa.

I am trying to put together a Swann video security system that is linked to my smartphone.
Been using it around the house for awhile and it's fun to watch yourself pull into your driveway on your iPhone in real time.

Did you ever make any progress on this? I am also interested in replacing the Dometic, if possible, with a smart unit but had the understanding that it is the only unit that can talk to the rest of the system.
