Eldin,
need more info; battery type?, series or parallel?, battery disconnect switch? Photos would help.

Just did it on my 87, 25' trailer.

Wear safety glasses.
Unplug the trailer from the electric.
Use a 2x4 or other prop across the tongue to hold the doors approximately parallel to the ground.
Set the first battery on the door in front of the opening.
Use a short wrench (I think 1/2 inch) that is completely covered with tape except for the end being used.
Connect the positive to the first battery and push the plastic terminal cover on the wire in place.
Do the same procedure with the second battery.
Connect the ground to one battery and put the terminal cover in place.
Connect the ground to the other battery and put the terminal cover in place
Carefully slide the batteries into place in the compartment. Make sure that you do not contact the trailer skin with an exposed part of the terminals.

The 27 size batteries are a tight fit in my compartments. Height is just barely sufficient to get them in under the outside skin. Once in they fit fine.

Since the 2 batteries are in parallel the terminals are hot once you connect the ground terminal to first battery so be careful not to short anything to the skin.
