We have the 5 button model......does anyone know if you can have the furnace fan stay on ......and not have it going on and off during the night?

Hi from far away Doss, Texas. I don't think the furnace was designed to have the blower running constantly like the AC and heat pump do when you select high or low as opposed to auto.

We know how you feel. When connected to shore power, we use a small, oil-filled radiator for evening heat and to take the chill off. When really cold we put it in the bathroom, close the door to the front half, and stay comfy through the night.

That furnace fan is loud. Personally I think it would drive me nuts if it ran continuously plus I don't think it was engineered for that kind of duty cycle. If you have the heat pump and you aren't dealing with extreme cold, that might be the better option. We tend to reserve the use of the furnace for quick recovery of heat or as long as temps are 40 and above.

Hey Jcanavera,

For some reason, I've never tried our heat pump, but decided to give it a try this evening. We're sitting in our Airstream in Sydney, Nebraska enjoying the warmth. It's 43 degrees and raining, but we are perfectly comfortable.

Have eaten at both those places on numerous occasions. Have you tried the Hilltop Cafe? Great German and Cajun food.

Haven't tried it yet but we'll put it on our list. BTW, we love Alamo Springs Cafe, but I feel my cholesterol rise a few points every time I eat one of the burgers.

I actually prefer the furnace to the heat pump. Our friggin heat pump is so loud I can't stand it.
We use a small ceramic cube heater and have the furnace set at 65. The furnace doesn't kick in too much. We just returned from camping when the temp got down to 31 at night.
