Went on Amazon looking for the King switch and found it...
Of course I also found something else which is making me go Hmmm.

A rotating antenna by "pingbingding"

The reason I am entranced/curious is that about 2/3 of the park models and trailers in Travelers Rest & resort have something that looks like this one! (Darn, failed to get a link but this one has 1975 reviews and says it is "HDTV") neither the old winegard nor the new mushroom antenna are impressive. What do you gurus think?

Cool Pingbingding

Can't say it would work out on a active touring Airstream Trailer. Seems more permanent use on a park model. Ugly factor is very high.

Smile Update

Parked in campground for first time since install of the King TV and cable switch. Cable connection was available at the docking station. Connected the outside cable and went inside to scan for stations on the front TV. BINGO! Over forty channels came through for the first time.

I believe the King switch is the correct match for the King antenna. Airstream had the Wingard switch. Very important if you do the change out, snug all the connections securely to the switch and TV.

I looked at the King switch and didn't find one with a 12 volt plug like the Winegard.
Was this a consideration for you.

I have actually never used the 12 volt outlet on mine.

The King switch, like the Winegard, has two terminals on the back of the switch plate (positive and negative) that are used to connect the hard wired 12V coach power wires behind the outlet. The 12V power is only needed to power the external TV antenna and that power has nothing to do with cable reception...other than the 12V button switch on the plate's outside surface must be "OFF" to get cable.
