Black Hole

I have a 'MicroPulse RV System Monitor 3' in the 27 FB Classic Limited that constantly shows the Black Water as full. I have emptied the Black Water tank and still get the RED indicator light that signifies that the tank is full when in fact it is not. I am going to contact the manufacturer but due to the Holidays they aren't available for the last few days.

Any thoughts?

Search micorpulse on the forum. there is a calibration process in your manual as well. I found, after many tries to allow at least an hour between the steps to let the system stabilize. Works reasonably well after I stumbled upon that idea.

It is, however, a troublesome and less than accurate system.

I may need to try that as my black tank meter intermittently goes from reading correctly to empty back and forth. Eventually I think I'll need to replace the sensor since swapping the sensor RJ11 connectors does not help (fault follows the sensor line being measured). I'm hoping for a miracle but think that sensor replacement is not too far off. Fortunately, I rely much more on fresh and grey measurements and they are working fine.

I responded to a micropulse blog under `electrical' as well. I'd like to recalibrate, but do not have a manual, other than the description in the Airstream guide, which does not contain calibration info. Is a manual on-line?

Thanks. Shads Shack
