All Around video cameras

Hi, anyone has done research or has experience with all-around cameras, like in cars/trucks? Does AS plans to offer them in next models? Thanks.

My guess is that Airstream will not get into the camera business as cameras mounted on the trailer must connected to a monitor in the tow vehicle either be wire or wirelessly.
There are several systems available aftermarket which do the job nicely.
I worked out the system I wanted and purchased what I needed from TadiBrothers. Installation of three wireless cameras, their transmitters and receivers, and the monitor inside the truck took me one morning. One camera on the front of the truck for pulling into parking places, one on the back of the truck for backing, hooking up, and to see behind as I have a Snug Top which makes the inside mirror useless, and a camera on the rear of the trailer for rear vision and backing. I can switch between the two rear cameras as needed. That was a year ago. Love it.

If you don't want to tackle this yourself, there are places you can get it done.

I don't think I would wait for Airstream.

Thanks for the valuable contribution, it is very interesting and useful. In addition to the uses you described, I am thinking on cameras around the trailer emulating cameras around latest model cars, that actually show the periphery of the trailer, even when stationary. When we leave the trailer, we may want to check on our phones/tablets from elsewhere what is going on outside/inside our trailer, for safety reasons for instance. I was thinking on using those cameras when stationary, not on the move, remotely. Thanks.
