AI 2015 Step Switch

Has anyone had to replace the magnetic switch that controls the motor operated steps operation when the sliding door is opened/closed?

No, but get a regular old magnet and hold it by the sensor in the door frame and see if the step retracts. I used one of those magnetic key holders. I have to do that when I leave and want the step retracted when I'm gone.
2015 seems too new to need the step fixed.
