1969 Safari Control Panel Help

I broke something on the control panel circuit board and am not able to find any documentation of this item. The item is the all important electronic circuit board that controls indicator lights. While trying to get the black water tank indicator lights to work properly I accidently grounded the wrong wire, this caused a flash and the destruction of a component on the control panel circuit board. Please see photo’s for more. If anyone could tell me what this component is, or take a picture of your board I would appreciate it. I think it is a diode, but not sure. I am an electronic technician and maybe able to get this thing fixed if I did not break something else in the same dumb move. Thank you so much.

69 circuit board

Here is the best photo I could get. As you know it's hard to see in that small space.

I see you have a radio installed. Do you have 2 or 4 speakers in your safari? I installed a new radio yesterday and found wiring for 4 speakers but only could place 2 of the wires. I'm curious to know where the factory ran the other two wires.

That is a great picture, and thank you so much for taking the time to post it. This is just what I have been waiting for. My missing componet is a diode!! I can work with that.. Thank you again so much. Yes, my unit has 4 speaker wires too. and like you I can only find where 2 of them go . I really have not tired to search for them, but have never run into them while working on something else.

You take care and thanks again.. Bill
