They would have been the corning curved glass windows, very expensive to replace. That leads to them being replaced with plexi after accidental breakage. My 68 has one plexi window.

Replacement glass windows are now available, but they weren't for many years, thus the only option was plexi-replacements. I believe both Vintage Trailer Supply & Inland RV now have the glass replacements...they still aren't cheap, but they ARE available.
