I've been slacking lately.

We're in the Dixie National Forest at Leeds Canyon in Utah.

Texas late last week. Amongst the snow capped mountains and invigorating air of Wichita Falls.

Maine yesterday. 18F at arrival. On to Ohio on the Great Lakes in the morning after a side trip to Philadelphia today and IH80 central Pennsylvania tonight.

An all aluminum trailer in tow, yes. Trusty Cummins turbo diesel under the hood. Check. Plenty of gears. Yup. Trailer scaled out at 59,360-lbs a few hours ago, but I guess this doesn't really count, huh?

We have spent at least 2 weeks backpacking in the Sawtooths every Summer / Fall for the last 5 years. I know it's hard with little ones, but the real beauty of the Sawtooths is 10 miles in. You must be battling hoards of mosquitoes right now.

Thanks rmkrum. That was a 30 second exposure, ISO 6400 - tripod mounted, of course. Joe

A few weeks ago; colored stones in the snow melt water at the intersection of Dry Fork and Two Medicine creeks, just below Running Eagle Falls, in Glacier NP.

I have gotten very a few shots like that with film, back in the bad old days, and had to push process it to get there.

I think that really shows the Milky Way well. You should consider a high-quality enlargement and a nice frame--that would be art, and a keeper in my book.

On one of our mc trips out west we were way out off the beaten path in New Mexico I think. We stopped at an old ma and pa store to ask directions. The little old lady told us where we were, quote, you're right here with me, honey. So right.
