Some choose a Roomba - almost ideal since tracking in grass, etc. can be a big problem and getting under the tables can be a pain.
I have a Shark, which is adequate and stores in a pretty small space, but I'd also consider a very small wet/dry vac - since you can use it outside and in your tow vehicle. As long as it has the standard size hose and pipes you can fit on a rotating head from an inside vacuum.

We have a 110v stick vacuum and a small 12v wet/dry vacuum.
The real problem is the carpet -- out current trailer does not have carpet, and on previous rigs that did have carpet - we ripped it out and replaced the flooring. Area rugs a a much better choice -- easy to clean, and you can easily change or update the decor.
We used a mini shop vac for several years. Last year we remover the carpet, from high trafic area, and replaced with hard floor. We shake the throw rugs and use a swifter on the hard floor. Kept carpet in sleeping area so still have the vac for carpet and cirtians.
We replaced most of the carpeting in our TT's with vinyl tile. What little carpet there is we vacuum with a handheld hoover vacuum. It works well for the small area we have but does require you to get down low to the floor.
Of course this really wasn't much of a problem in the past, as my ex was always down on her knees.

We have a little hand-held which does pretty well, although we are linoleum except for under the driver and passenger seats. Ours has a crevice tool, which is especially handy at times. Our old RV had carpet, impossible to keep clean, would never have it again.
We bought the smallest Dyson and really like it. It does a really goood job and especially works well for the bed room. We are also just a few weeks from going from going full time. Our house is in sale pending mode and if there are no hitches with the sale, we'll be full time on Sept 11.
I use 18" x 18" carpet tiles that are not glued down.
Most carpet in shopping malls, car dealerships etc are carpet tiles.
You just pull up the ones with the stains and wash them at the $1.00 self serve car wash.
I bought mine at auction when Comp-USA closed a few stores.
I don't worry much about daily sweeping.
I have a great vacume cleaner when I get back to my base station otherwise I just use a regular straw broom.
