Hi all,

Just popped into our friends for a few moments and logged on to say hi.

1st week and what I've learned!

1. To many canned goods in the cupboard, was advised to keep in tote in back of truck and that is what we are doing.

2. Wash clothes more than once a week, or they need thier own trailer.

3. Dishes have to be washed more than once a day, and dog licking them does not count.

4. Shoes must not be kept in the middle of the floor or in front of the closets.

5. 8Lb peek a poo takes up over 1/2 of a twin bunk!

6. Long dark drive from South Fort Myers to Punta Gorda at midnight, 25 miles.

7. Really really love living in Bertha. Takes 10 minutes to do daily housework, and 30 minutes on the weekends.

Thanks for all of your good wishes and yes, we still plan on showing up at Falluminium end of this month. Can't wait to meet our friends.

Marie

Rivet Fibber McGee and Molly

Was Fibber McGee and Molly also an early 50's tv show? Perhaps I remember mom telling me about that closet from the days of radio for entertainment!

You should see our self store unit! That thing is packed so tight NOTHING could fall out!!! And that's not all of it either since our move 4 yrs ago. Wish I knew what we'll need/want once we finally stop putting of the project of building another house.

You and Terry are doing a terrific job of adjusting to all the changes you've endured and with a smile yet !! You are blessed, many of us wouldn't be able to hold up.

Happy trails always ! sue

Could be, but my doctor assured me less than two weeks ago that I was outgrowing it

Gadzeeks, next thing you know you'll be referencing the Katz and Jammer kids or what ever they were called. Or that Lil Abner character. Man, those WERE simpler times when humor and entertainment did not require 300 people slaughtered, loud noise and flashing lights and all the stuff that goes with it. Mind you, there were a lot of other things not too polite going on in the world so it's all relevant I guess, but I still remember my dad laughing at Red Skelton, the other guy with the fiddle and Roscoe as his sidekick, and some of the other shows. I still remember the first TV viewing of the 1963 Corvette split window and I vowed I would get me one of those - and I've had almost every year BUT a '63.

But Fibber Magee and Molly goes WAY back.

I have refrained till now of comparing myself to Joe Svelk, from Lil abner...
