Tank removal for permanent placement

I am a new member and a new owner of my first AS, a 1977 Sovereign. I am remodeling the trailer to make it my permanent guest cottage. I will be connecting to my septic tank, water, and power. I am wondering about the logic of removing the holding tanks and running the water and sewer directly out. I have seen a thread about how to remove the black water tank but I would love some advice on what I should do.

I would not remove the tanks. The gray one you could just leave the valve open. The black tank I would suggest leaving the valve closed and opening it as needed, witch will not be that often.

You greatly reduce the value of the trailer if you were ever to want to sell it with the tanks removed. I see no advantage to removing them.

Permanency may trigger a tax liability depending on your location.
