I hate to ask. What is the MPG going to be towing the Airstream with the Jeep in the bed of the TV?

It's like the old saying, "If you gotta ask how much, you probably can't afford it." We used to boat on the Great Lakes and our Egg Harbor 37' with twin Chevrolet truck 454 cubic inch engines would average between 25 and 27 gallons PER HOUR when on plane. No matter the cost of gasoline today, pulling our Airstream will NEVER cost what boating cost! We'll be happy with 'streamin no matter how much of it we do. As you said earlier, it's simply a matter of "doing it." That's what we choose to do and that's the way we choose to do it........let us worry about paying for it. I love your "20 and counting" which is probably less by now. When I look at the calendar, I see T minus 40 before my retirement date.....but it is coming FAST!

Hey DP,

Headed anywhere near Moab soon? A few years ago while mountain biking there.....I could not believe what the jeeps were doping on the slickrock there.

Bet then, I couldn't believe what my mountainbike was doing on the stuff either . That stuff isn't slick at all........sort of like riding on sandpaper!!!!!
