Our full time adventure begins on Monday!

Greetings Airstreamers. Monday marks the end of our life in the Big Apple, and the start of a new life in the Aluminium Apple! My GF and I are embarking on a 24 month adventure throughout North America. It has been a dream of ours forever, and we figured out a way to make it come true. We will be chronicling our adventures through our blog, www.RoadTrip.cc. Stop on by and have a look. We hope to see as many of you as we can on the road and in our humble little domain space. Wish us luck!

Thanks so much for all the support, folks! Our first leg is Lakewood NJ to, Teddy Roosevelt NP, then off to Glacier NP, then up to Alberta, Canda. Any must sees between those points of interest?

Great news

What a dream!

Similar to 65GT, we spent 40 days trip'n across the US on our maiden voyage. It changed my perspective to say the least. I certainly agree that 2 years of wandering our great nation (and any other part of North America) is a dream.

Good luck, have fun, be careful and we will be looking for you here in California.

Super, Natural British Columbia

Hey guys, when you get done with Waterton/Glacier National Park, be sure to head through Brisish Columbia. You won't want to miss the Okanagan Valley, Vancouver Island, Sunshine Coast, and Salt Spring Island, not to mention our home in Balfour, on beautiful Kootenay Lake. We'll be watching for you!! have a blast, we're so jealous.

Sombywolf, have you ever read "First We Quit Our Jobs" about a NY couple who sold out, bought a motorhome, and hit the road for months on a trek to Alaska, seeking whatever they could find that would lead them to their next adventures in life. A neat read, and might reinforce what you are ready to do. Bon Voyage ~G

Boy oh Boy. Jealousy is contagious. This is a most excellent dream.

There are so many places to see while going west. Start with the arch in St. Louis - gateway to the west. Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse memorial, Black Hills, Cody and Yellowstone to name a few. Go to as many mom and pop places and document americana.

Just put your blog site on my favorites list.

Have fun and stay safe. If your in Florida, your welcome.

Thanks everyone for your kind words and well wishing. Week #3 is coming to a close and I am happy to report that things have been going even better than we expected. Yesterday we experienced our first real mountain pull, over the Beartooth Highway into Yellowstone. Apparently there is an AS rally going on right here in the park!!! We will be looking for you guys later in the day... For the full story of what we have been up to, head on over to www.roadtrip.cc. More to come soon.

Wow! You are gutsier than we are, to pull your AS over the Beartooth! This is one of our favorite drives ever, but just in the truck alone, I'm holding on white knuckled, and sending out prayers But, wasn't it incredible "view candy"? Did you stay at one of the campgrounds up in the Beartooth? Best wishes on your continued travels! ~G

Way cool!
Looking forward to tracking your adventures on our blog.
By the way, be prepared to drop a bundle on gas with your 8.1L.
I get about 10.3 MPG with mine towing a 25' Excella.
Mileage only gets worse going faster than 65 or into the wind or up hill.
