Cool On the Road Again

Hey all,
My mom is leaving tomorrow and I am leaving Missoula as well. It looks like it will be the last best day to get out.

I will be heading to Bozeman for Sunday night. Short run but stopping to visit for the evening.
Monday will be I-90 east and then south I-25South the Cheyene, WY. Hopefully.
Tuesday. I-80 East through Nebraska and Iowa. Stopping in Iowa City for the night with friends.
Wednesday. I-80 East through Illinois and Indiana into uper Ohio. Then south and east to Jackson Center.
Arriving Jackson Center Wednesday night or THursday Morning.
If you see me on the road wave!

Have a safe journey. In Vancouver Canada we are getting a taste of winter - it started snowing a couple of hours ago and we've got quite a lot of heavy wet snow on the ground. It could be days before it rains enough to get rid of it. Hopefully this stuff isn't heading your way. I understand that Seattle is anticipating getting it. We like to share

Am I correct in assuming you are heading to get the trailer properly repaired? It will be nice to have it all redone to as new and just in time for the ugly weather. Have they given you any idea of how long the repairs will take or do they need to spend some time looking at it first?

Barry

Oh sure, take the Southern route whydontcha! Anyhow please remember it is just past peak deer mating season, sunset today in MN was 4:36, so especially be wary during evening hours if you are still driving because the deer are plain zonko about then...

Don't forget the stealth camera to get plenty of candid shots at JC

Safe journeys, Ms Miche..

I am headed back to the factory to get Butter cup repaired. Just in time to head south for the winter.

Yeah I cconsidered the northern route especially if it was snow free. I expect to get up early and stop driving by dark. Can't see if the road is wet or icy. Not going there again.

To state the obvious: "Keep the tires on the black stuff between the trees".
Have a great trip South and hope to see you again next fire season if you get the time.

Be safe - it's snowing here today!

It was great visiting with you last week - my neighbors asked if we got a new trailer after you left and in the same breath asked why we didn't just get one that doesn't need to be fixed.

Safe journeys, Michelle! If you decide to cut south to I-70 for weather reasons, you are welcome to overnight at our place. (Midway between KC and St. Louie, @ 15 miles south of I-70) We can plug you in to 30 amp, and I think we could even arrange dumping. (Don't ask for details, please!) For sure, the eats and drinks (wine??) would make a good stop. Love to meet you and share some Montana/travel stories ~G
