Need a place to stay in West suburbs of Chicago

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase an airstream and live in it full time. I work seasonal construction for 8 months a year in Chicago and can't find a good campground or rv park to live in in the near western suburbs. Does anyone know if mobile home parks in the area offer rv hookups? Or does anyone have information that I have not been able to find?

There is a campground in Marengo called Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort. Here is the link Lehman's Lakeside RV Resort.

I believe that they have some year round fulltimers living there. However winters in northern Illinois get very cold at times.

Airstreams are not true four season RV's. You may want to look at 5th wheels with artic packages (dual pane windows, etc.) like Artic Fox.
