My opinion on nearly-new used pricing.

My opinion only. Provided for your consideration.

I think that many sellers on the AS classifieds that are selling nearly new units want to get the remaining amount that they owe on them from the sales price. This may or may not be what the value of the unit is.

If you can find a nearly new used unit at a dealer, then they probably took it on trade for a newer larger unit and the seller is no longer emotionally tied to the transaction.

Don't assume that you will pay more buying at a dealer.

We bought a 9 month old "used" unit from a dealer and bought at a very good price, had the benefit of easy dealer credit availability, their full service walkthrough on the unit, and a service desk to call if we had any questions.

Congratulations. The only problem I see is that it's not May yet!

(I assume you have confirmed the specs on towing, etc.)

I recommend that you read tv owners manual to determine its towing capabilities and seek additional advice from professionals if you are not sure. Lots of good advice in these forums from lots of experienced owners. Even with the same tv/Airstream combination, the variables are countless. Be safe and enjoy.
