Late '40s Full timers looking for Same age company
We have been full timers since September 2012. We are in our late 40's and we are having a Hard time finding couples in our age group... We are active, like to hike and keep in shape.
We would like to chat/meet couples are age and maybe even travel together. We are leaving Estes Park, CO on Jul 8 and heading to Utah (Springville area) for a month and basically no plan's after Utah (We want to stay in the west for the Summer and then head to AZ for the winter...
If you are interested to travel together or just be friends please contact us

Marylou and Ed,
My wife Terry and I are also in our late forties and beginning our full time adventure in another month or so. We will be heading from our current home in Massachusetts to Kentucky for the fall to work for Amazon, then heading to Arizona in January.
Maybe our paths will cross!

We are only mid thirties full timers.. hopefully not too young for you to hang with.
Other than chatting up folks at the campground, your best bet is to engage online social networks a bit. (Like you have here). In the last year we have met ~10 couples via different online sources. A ton via online blogs. There is a "Nurvers" group that is active on facebook. We have even met 3 or so via Instagram.
It is really hit or miss if you are in the same area as others. You will find during winter they all tend to congregate in AZ, TX or FL, and thus easier to bump into each other.
We are currently in Leadville heading north. Won't be in the Estes Park area until after you have left. Though we will be in AZ much of the winter so keep in touch.

So happy to see a thread like this one. My husband, Ron, and I are in our early 50s (how we got here, I haven't a clue!) We are in the process of purchasing our first RV - an AS, of course - and hope to be full-timing no later than May 1st of next year. We would definitely be interested in traveling with like-minded active youngsters. Ron is an avid cyclist and I am a decent tennis player - so staying in shape while on the road is going to be big for us. Though my knees aren't what they used to be, we love to be outdoors hiking or biking. Now that the world will be our oyster, we are thrilled to look for the pearls.
Love Estes Park - I lived in Denver for 16 years. Don't know exactly when we'll hit the road, but I know our first objective will be to head north :-) Do stay in touch.
Happy streaming,
Karis

Marylou and Ed,
My husband and I are early 30s, fulltime, and we are currently living in Estes Park! We'll be here till the end of October. We spent last winter in Arizona and will probably go back, to Texas, or to NM this winter. We went sailing and fishing on Boyd Lake in Loveland today. Amazing! We hike a bit around here on Forest Service land. We've been exploring back roads to see the old mining towns in the area. We tried to make it to Corona, Co just south of Nederland, Co yesterday. Ran into some snow and couldn't get passed it. Would've brought a tent if we knew it would be such beautiful weather up there at 10, 500ft. I work at 1pm tomorrow if you want to grab coffee before you head out. I love Kind Coffee on the river for Monday morning.
Take care and happy travels!
