How-to live part time in east coast?

Can anyone advise me? I want to: live about 3-6 months at a time on the east coast ( to be close to family) including some cold weather? Is it Ok to just park in a friend's yard or a few different places? How would I go about finding RV parks to stay in part time? ANY advice helps....I will be living anywhere between NY and Philadelphia....or surrounding areas...... Lisa

i'm looking to do the same thing. many municipalities prohibit the storage of vehicles on property in my area. i'm looking for somewhere that is more Airstream friendly. my needs are for winters in Florida and the other 3 seasons in NY.
