Hot water pressure

I'm full timing, hooked up to city water at a park. I have a 1999 34' Excella. My water pressure for cold is excellent. But all of a sudden the hot water pressure in both the bathroom and the kitchen seems very low. I have hot water, but not good pressure. I'm using electricity not gas. As soon as I add the cold water to the output the pressure is great.

What should I check?

Thanks! Anne

Mystery solved. The neighbor came over. Took the top valve off the water heater, removed the O rings and now the hot water pressure is perfect. Yeah!

That's a good neighbor. Hope you 'bought' him a cold one.

Hi, glad you got the hot water fixed, but I can't picture what was done. Were the "O" rings bad and why weren't they replaced? Can you give us a better explanation or pictures of what the neighbor did?

Well I'd send a pic, but it's all put back together. He just took off the twist brass valve that was on the top of the tank and removed 2 black O rings. I put them in an envelope and taped them to the top of the stryofoam covering the water heater with a note. I think it was the valve someone else asked about being the by-pass for easy winterization. Does this make sense?

And yes I did pay my neighbor. He has 5 kids! God bless him.

Thanks guys. Anne
