Hi-Def on the road?????

Just wondered what others are using to support the new HiDef dish for their Satellite. We have ours on a board at this time and it's easy to set up at each new location. Have looked at tripods but not certain which way to go. The new dishes have two extra arms for support making the post a little tough. Help!!!

I have had my hi-def dish on the road for the last 18 months. I had been using a Directivo unit with a old style HD dish. Once I figured it out it only took me an hour to set her up.
I am moving my new dish with my new Directv HD DVR this week. We will see. I have the setup instructions.

Dish Base

My mounting base reached the end of its life recently. It became flexiable. I toyed around with the idea of stiffening it. THe closer I looked the more I want to build a new one. The original was made from 7/16 roof sheathing in about 15 minutes. It lasted longer than I had expected.

The new one is made entirely out of 1X3s. Screwed and glued together. It is slightly larger than the old one, lighter and stiffer. I have the paint and will be painting it as soon as I can. This one should last much longer.
My new dish is smaller and lighter than my old one. A new signal meter has helped as well. The Accutrac III+
