I'm not sure where to post this but Hello,
I am new to the forums but not to Airstreaming. I've been full-timing in my 1988 Airstream 345 motorhome since 2010. I've been up and down the east coast and I've travelled quite a bit, mostly in my Airstream but there is the occasional flight thrown into the mix. Health issues have kept me slightly tethered but I have traveling in my blood. I don't normally do the forum thing. I generally prefer to camp and travel and maintain my motorhome than talk about it. I know a lot of people don't have the luxury of getting to Airstream full-time and a lot of people don't want to live in an aluminum tube every day of their life but I am in the position to do so and it had always been my dream so here I am.
I met a great girl a couple of years ago thanks to Airstreaming. We were friends for a year, I would come and go in and out of her life and campground. She was living in an SOB after a divorce and had no tow vehicle so she was stuck in one place. Last winter we started dating and we both saw sparks. The spark quickly turned into a flame and our love has grown stronger each day. We got engaged about a month ago however no wedding date has been set. We have been traveling together since we started to date. She learned to live without slide outs and my two dogs and I learned to share 34.5 feet of Airstream with another person and her dog and cat. Thankfully my 22lb. Jack Russell is the largest of the bunch! We are outnumbered by pets but we are both true animal lovers.
Anyhow, I travel, I ride a Harley, I'm an Apple computer technician (easiest job in the world) and I rehab the occasional wild animal in need of some attention. That is my world all wrapped up in an aluminum can. Nice to meet everyone here. Look forward to maybe meeting you down the road. Au revoir for now.
