Fulltiming: Where and how? in SE Mass

Hi everyone,
My husband and I have an airstream, and we were thinking it would be great to live in it while I go back to school for the next two years. We've been looking for campgrounds in the New Bedford/Dartmouth area of Massachusetts, but none are open all year. I tried a few mobile home parks too, but they don't allow travel trailers. I'm running out of ideas of where to look. Is there a type of property I haven't searched for? Does anyone know of anything in that area that I may have overlooked? Fulltiming seemed like a great idea, but now I'm getting frustrated. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the forum here, a source of good advice and a lot of opinions. All enjoyable.

We spent this past winter in southern Arizona, with our Airstream. We loved it. But I can't imagine can't imagine a winter in the northern states in one. They are poorly insulated, and water and sewer systems are not designed to operate for long periods below freezing. I would think there would also be severe condensation problems inside the trailer, and within the walls, perhaps leading to mold growth and unhealthy air.

It seems to me Airstreams and their occupants can be happiest between 40 and 80 degrees. Much outside of those general parameters and the quality of life degrades quickly.

It's not very close, but if you don't have any luck closer, you might want to look into Normandy Farms in Foxboro - it's very convenient to Rt 495 which will bring you down to the NB/Dart area (495 to 195) - their in-season rates are insane, but they have some good deals for long-term stays...
