Full-timing for 2 years now. Nothing like an Airstream and the open road. (OK ... a motorcycle and the open road is pretty cool ... but at my age the Airstream is more comfortable.)

I was just going to start a thread asking who is fulltiming when I saw this thread. So here is a bump! Who is fulltiming? And what is your unit (size and model) and tow vehicle? And where do you winter?

I am very curious to learn of the different kinds of Airstreams members are comfortable in fulltime. Are they mostly large? Any Bambi fulltimers? If you have pictures of your rig so much the better!

njoysrvin how long have you been fulltiming? What is your set-up and where do you go to avoid the extreme temps?

I guess that is what you would call it. I'm heading out of FL within this next week to head West. The only requirement is that I be in Hood River, OR by July 4 (haven't missed the party in 16 years!!). I will be in the 19 CCD from now until the end of Nov. I guess that would qualify as full-time. Nothing like the 40'diesel MOHO that I was REALLY full timing in, but for 5-6 months, it should be interesting.

I will have my full compliment of RV tools, parts and paraphanalia with me, along with my Suzuki DL-1000 V-Strom motorcycle in the van. One MUST have their toys don't ya know.

If any of the Forum Folks need some work done on their rigs, now is the time to make that appointment! I have no route planned yet and no reservations, so I am open as of this writing. PM , e-mail lew@gorge.net or phone # in my profile.
