Full-Time Students in our Airstream

Hi Guys!
I am fairly new to the forums. I have been reading for the last few months, but have never found the time to post.
Here is the short story: My wife and I bought our 1974 31' Sovereign this last spring and spent the summer restoring it/waiting tables to pay for it. We gutted it out completely inside and redid it in our own style.
We moved from Big Bear Lake, CA to Portland, OR where I am going to school.
I would have loved to post a detailed restoration thread, but there was really no time this summer unfortunately.
I was able to take some photos of the interior to share so you can see how it looks now.

You can check out the photos here:

Sorry to hear about your rodent problem... I once had a dream of living full time in a airstream, which was abruptly interrupted by three screaming daughters.

Your trailer looks great. Congrats on completing it in a single summer, quite impressive.

Absolutely beautiful, you two!

What a unique and delightful home you have created for yourselves, surrounded by things you love and mementos you have gathered. I love it.

Study hard.

Ahhh - someone must be in design school or some type of art/photography/art-history/etc....

Your place is delightful. It makes me wonder about my design intents... what fascinates me the most at this moment is your closet. "See, you can live with much less!!!" That's what I'm thinking as I consider moving into my trailer and trying to live more responsibly/simply. Much less but, you two HAVE IT ALL. Very cool and thanks for sharing.

Laura
