BC can be extreme. I have never spent a winter in an airstream, but the insulation in the walls is limited and I have heard condensation on the inner walls in very cold weather is common. Thought needs to be given to keeping the plumbing from freezing. Needless to say your furnace will probably be pushed to the max.

If you have a contact in Whistler talk to them about how cold it will get there. An Airstream is not designed for cold weather no matter what the ads say. Consider the fuel cost and the safety factor of the heater on Full Time.

My sister in law spent a winter in Texas in here Airstream and had ice on the inside of the trailer more than once.

Aniwa,

The "skirt" isn't for David to wear, it's a wrap that goes around the outside of the Airstream to keep the wind from blowing underneath it. I'm not sure if David does wear a skirt, though. If you want to wear a costume at night, you can, but I don't think it will keep you warm!

Hi to you in Greece!
