Mike - How many days does that composting toilet last you before you have to empty it out?

p.s. I really enjoy following your family on Instagram. Such a beautiful adventure you're on.

We spend less than we make. Boondocking, staying put or longer periods of time. We are way under $400 campground fees so far this year. Food is the next biggest expense, but you'll have that no matter how you live. Fuel is next. But, by limiting your running around and staying put longer, you can really stretch that out.

Having traveled coast to coast, so far, the most expensive campground fees I have found are in the Florida Keys during winter months. Current winter season prices can range from $2100 month (Boyds RV Park) to $3900 month (Bluewater Key RV Resort).

I am in the Keys now. Private campground rates are down right scary. Fortunately as retired military I can take advantage of military campgrounds. Currently dry docking in Key West for $14 night. Clean showers provided and water and dump if needed. I stay at National Parks (half price) and military campgrounds when ever possible.

In the overflow area at Trumbo Point a few blocks from downtown Key West. Staying here until Wednesday and then heading up to Sunset Key Resort for the Florida State rally.
