This is a great stream! Us older guys often find that all that warm water triggers a natural reaction--maybe that is why my drain pan is all blue!

My first house was pretty rural, up on a hill and the leach field was about 25 feet above my neighbor's house and deck but never any problem, even with the mixed contents of a redwood septic tank.

Occasional use based on minimal urges pretty much tracks what many of us may do outdoors when needed: All's Well that Ends Well.

Well, you could have baggies handy, but at least you don't need to use a pee funnel.

If your neighbors don't care and are aware of the use, go for it. The only time I've heard of a problem was when it was too close to a shallow well pump. Does not appear to be the case here. Go for it. Remember CYA. Jim

He ran a trench down slope and made the trench slope away from the structure for 200 feet and laid the pipe in that - calculations on volume were in the 100's of gallons per filling. Sandy soil and the rock placed around the pipe insured leaching of the "material". Total costs was under $250. Has worked for "him" for over 7 years. There's a nice long strip of very green grass on that side of "his" lawn.
Should we dear ask what happened after 7 YEARS??

Dogs and cats and all kinds of wild animals do it out in nature all the time, and you are in your trailer. At least you are running it through rock which maybe considered a small septic system, but check your local regulations.

Don't ask don't tell.

This is why I love this forum-the willingness to solve ''all'' our problems.

You have created what we call here in the country a "dry well". Very common things many years ago. I say "take it to the tree's and wing it as you please". Remember, you are using how many gallons of water to take a shower and maybe 12oz of the mellow-yellow, no big deal there.

My issue would be "why" did you do it that way? You are using a 3" hookup for something that could use a garden hose. My suggestion would be this:

Bury the trash can so it cannot be seen, run a pipe under the ground over to the trailer, under the trailer where the juice runs out put a grate there to hide the pipe, open gray valve and let it roll and your are done.

Anybody that walks up just see's a small grate in the ground, no questions asked. When you leave, cover the grate with something and no one will ever know it's there!

The way you have it setup, first person that walks by will ask, "What the h*ll is that?"

Enjoy,
