Alarm Clock

Believe it or not, the radio in my former Lexus had an alarm clock feature built in. Never figured out WHY I'd want one in a SUV unless I was taking a nap at a rest stop... but I now wish I had that same feature in the Airstream's sound system.

Wouldn't it be nice to have soft classical music play me awake in the morning - and to have it work even if the power was out and I was on battery and solar?

So as a complete electrical idiot, any idea how I'd add a wake up timer, etc?

Leave the sound system on with an iPod (or equivalent) plugged in as the sound source. There are clock/alarm apps that could turn iTunes on with whatever choice from your music on the iPod.

Maybe Johnny and the Screamers would get the old adrenal gland pumping going by causing you to sit bolt upright scared out of your wits!
