Tires for Land Yacht Clipper

I have some old Michelins on my 2000 land yacht and want to change them to Yokohamas. Any suggestions on the tire size please? The Michelins are 235 80R22.5.

Got a set of Yokohamas to fit, at about 1/2 the price!

And about 1000 miles later, now know why the yokos are cheaper! Next time, going back to Michelins!

Did you have a tire failure? damage?

I just replaced mine with Goodyear G670's.

Supposed to have extra UV protection. We will see how that works! (if I can live long enough to know?)

Picked up a chunk of pipe and ruined a tire at 215 miles. Have the new one on now and on the road again.

I was always a Bridgestone customer, but they did not have my replacement size anymore. I dislike changing things and then finding out it does not work!

The tires were getting dryrotted and plus they were beyond the service life (10 years?). The RV seems to wander around steering-wise on the joke-ahamas then on the Michelins. The Michelins were an odd size to begin with and pretty darn expensive. After these, I may go to Goodyears but by then, maybe i'll be taking my dirt nap.
