I don't know if they are available, but for my Sprinter, that does not get a lot of miles on it (like most RVs) I purchased used tires. So someone has a car and puts a BUNCH of miles on the tires (say 30 or 40 K) and then gets new ones and they are going to continue to drive a LOT. The old ones still have half their tread and are less than a year old. You put them on the RV where they are more likely to age out than wear out and you are in great shape. Did the same thing for the Jeep I bought for driving in the winter, not gonna see many miles there either.
Do you know what a learning experience is? A learning experience is one of those things that says "You know that thing that you just did? Don't do that."
What is the best tire for the XL390
Michelin, Firestone, Continental ?
Was not happy with Continental on my Sprinter and change to Michelin which drives better and wears less.
Looking for anybody with some experience.
Peter
I bought the Michelins for my 396XL...love the ride...but I replaced older Michelibs so no comparison to older tires...look into the FMCA Michelin Advantage program...saves a fair amt. on new tires...still not cheap though.
Good that what I had put on. I had Firestone in the front and Goodyear on the back all about 10 years old. So I did not want to take any chances and all I read about it mostly Michelin was rated good. Did not have time to take advantage of discounts but will check on it in the future.
Thanks
Peter
